Options for Two
From the Staff of SeaCase® Urns, Inc.
Welcome
We are a company devoted to expanding burial at sea concepts and facilitating your memories of that moment. We offer you new and creative ways to participate in building memories not only for your self, but for all those who are with you on that special day.
Our first design was introduced in September, 2007 to a warm reception. The concept was conceived as an answer to a friend's family wishes to perform a ceremony at sea in a format that was not in the market. They wanted something more than just 'spread him on the water'. Plus, they did not want to risk the 'blow-back' possibilities. Being raised on the water and around it, they wanted a final send off in the tradition of how life was spent. Water in the blood is a strong thing.
We too, have been around the ocean most all of our lives and undertook the project. We soon found out there was quite a bit to consider to do this request right. We also had heard horror stories of 'blow back' accidents in ocean scattering services and knew we did not want that. After careful and deliberate design by our expert and much testing by our staff, we can assure that this product will provide you with a unique method to give your loved one a customized, final farewell. Naturally, it is a bio-degradable product but with a small twist. We also include a small memorial that remains on the bottom after the urn itself degrades. This has been called the Little Boat that could. This little boat urn has such potential for creating ash scattering memories.
We know of no other mini-dinghy urn anywhere for use in ocean scattering ceremonies, certainly none with this degree of thought in design and use. We have created a product we will be proud to use ourselves, and are confident you will appreciate it as well. We can't imagine a mariner funeral service anywhere that would not be richly enhanced with our little ocean scattering urn. We invite you to further investigate our simple product line.

Green Comment
There are many shapes and sizes of urns on the market, but none like this one. This handcrafted, made in the USA ocean going scattering urn is in the shape of a boat, or small dinghy. It is biodegradable and versatile. We never use plastic or fiberglass products. Respect to the environment is as important to us as is the dignity of the ceremony you are contemplating at this moment. Flowers

Perhaps far eastern in theme, it is a demonstration of creativity in your ocean scattering ceremony using this little boat urn. These personal notes would be left to float on the surface when the SeaCase sinks to it's resting place.
Sometimes you just want something really simple. Perhaps each person wants to place a portion of the remains in the water. The oriental method of using an origami box is perhaps the simplest of all. There are many forms available and relatively easy to make. If you wish, we offer an Origami Scattering Box that is obtainable with custom graphics and a message.

These products will provide you with ways to uncommonly commemorate the departed.
We think it is a step above many everyday methods used in a standard scattering service.
It might surprise you to realize how this small part of the final service can provide a large, sweet memory of those final moments.
As you are preparing for this time, dwell on the possibilities. The ability to add your own personal special touch will intensify those memories.
We are confident your service time will be unique and special for you and all those who participate.
Our best wishes to you and your family.
